About

What We Do.

Designer Glass Overlay utilizes modern materials, state-of-the art equipment, and skilled craftsmen to replicate the look of artisan-stained glass and decorative glass in the form of an overlay that is positioned on top of your existing window or door glass.

We often say that we use the materials and methods the original artisans would have used…if they were available at the time.

How We Do It.

Designer Glass Overlay produces a layered, precision-fitted overlay that, once installed…has the look and feel of stained or leaded glass. Its installs directly over your existing glass.

Once installed, our overlay:

  • Looks like stained or leaded glass

  • Refracts light like stained or leaded glass
  • Incorporates texture like stained or leaded glass

How We're Different.

Our overlays are made to order.

Choose from more than 40 designs, and any of our curated color selections.

Select the design and color scheme that goes best with your home and your décor.

Made to Fit

Our overlays are precisions-sized and proportioned to fit your window. Forget about trimming with razor blades and hoping for the best. Our overlays fit your window because they were made for your glass opening from the start.

Easy to Install

Each overlay is shipped with easy-to-follow installation instructions, and an installation kit. We use a statically charged polymer that, once positioned…will remain in your glass opening without adhesives.

The Look...for LESS!

Decorative Glass Overlay brings the look and sophistication of stained or leaded glass to homeowners affordably.

Custom-made stained glass typically runs $600-$700 per square foot. That’s before shipping; crating and shipping fragile stained-glass panels is extraordinarily expensive.

Our overlays typically cost $25-$45 per square foot, delivered to your home. That’s 90% less than stained glass.
